What is in this model
- Unidirectional totem-pole PFC: fast leg at high switching frequency, line-frequency slow leg, boost inductor in series with the AC line, DC-link capacitor on the output.
- Bidirectional totem-pole PFC: same hardware with both legs switching at high frequency, works in all four quadrants for active and reactive power.
- Inner current loop: average-current-mode control.
- Outer voltage loop: The PI controller for the DC-link voltage sets the current reference.
